who is ren1? *
REN1, is a singer, songwriter, cultural strategist, and soul-shifter born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. With roots grounded in gospel, dance, and storytelling, REN1 weaves healing, Black culture, and radical truth-telling into every note and lyric bringing forth a new wave that blends funk, soul and a spark of amapiano.
In 2024, she released her debut single "GROW” in collaboration with international artists and music producers Ra.Feke and Twik Hozay of LOUP (League of Ultimate Producers). With the support of her friends, the official music video was released shortly after.
This summer, REN1 brings songs from her debut EP Testimony, out May 16th—a sonic journey of liberation, love, and becoming. More than a performer, she’s a vessel for reimagining the world through sound, movement, and spirit.
